Abstract:
This Michelson interferometer (FINCH Michelson interferometer 10) is provided with: a main interferometer having a beam splitter 12 for dividing a beam of incoming light into a first beam and a second beam, a movable mirror 13 that is disposed on the optical path of the first beam and can move in the optical axis direction of the first beam, and a fixed mirror 14 that is fixed on the optical path of the second beam, the movable mirror 13 and the fixed mirror 14 being concave mirrors or flat mirrors having mutually different curvatures; a laser light source 16 that causes a laser beam to be incident to the beam splitter 12; flat sections 131, 141 each provided at a position, to which the laser beam is incident, on a concave mirror among the movable mirror 13 and the fixed mirror 14; and a light detector 17 that is disposed at a position to which the laser beams reflected by the flat sections are incident, and that identifies the incident position.
