Abstract:
Provided are a device structure for a micro/nanofluidic analyzer used to analyze DNA and a method for manufacturing the device structure, in which the vertical or horizontal movement of DNA within a channel can be controlled, and the measurement precision can be increased by improving the degree of control of the height of the channel. The invention is characterized in having: an electroconductive film provided on a substrate; a first electrode for applying a voltage to the electroconductive film; a groove part serving as a channel for a solution from the end face on one side of a first insulating film provided on the conductive film to the end face on the other side thereof, the upper face of the channel being open; at least one pair of electrode terminals provided opposing both side surfaces of the groove part; and second and third electrodes for applying a voltage to a wire connected to each of the pair of electrode terminals. When the solution is passed through the groove part, a voltage is applied between the second and third electrodes, and the electric signal flowing between the second and third electrodes via a sample contained in the solution is measured, whereby the sample is analyzed.
