Abstract:
Provided is a micro-fluid chip which is capable of controlling circulation of fluid by means of a simple mechanism, thereby correctly weighing fluid accommodated in a cell. As an embodiment of the above, there is provided a micro-fluid chip (1) which is equipped with a weighing cell (D11) and a transfer control flow path (LF11). The aforementioned weighing cell (D11) comprises a fluid inlet (11a) that introduces fluid into the aforementioned weighing cell (D11); and a fluid outlet (12a) that discharges the surplus amount of fluid by which the accommodation capacity of the weighing cell (D11) is exceeded. The aforementioned transfer control flow path (LF11) is configured in such a way that one end connects with the weighing cell (D11) and that the flow of the aforementioned fluid is stopped by a positive force acting in the flow direction of the aforementioned fluid. In the aforementioned micro-fluid chip (1), circulation of fluid which flows in by capillary action is stopped by a positive force applied to that end of the transfer control flow path (LF11) which connects to an accommodation cell (D12), with the result that weighing cell (D11) is filled with fluid.
