Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a micro light-emitting diode chip, a manufacturing method therefor, a display panel and an electronic device. The micro light emitting diode chip may comprise: a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, a light emitting layer located between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The first electrode is located on the side of the first semiconductor layer away from the light-emitting layer, the second electrode is located on the side of the second semiconductor layer close to the light-emitting layer, the first electrode is electrically connected to the first semiconductor layer, and the second electrode is electrically connected to the second semiconductor layer. The orthographic projection of the second surface in the second semiconductor layer on the plane, in which the first surface is located, is located within the range of the first surface. Thus, the second semiconductor layer can be equivalent to a micro-lens, such that the light-emitting angle of the micro light-emitting diode chip is reduced since the micro-lens is formed by using the structure of the micro light-emitting diode chip. In addition, the brightness in normal direction of the micro light-emitting diode chip is increased, thereby improving the light energy utilization rate of the micro light-emitting diode chip.
