Abstract:
An end mill having a tip blade for dedicated use with a carbon fiber composite material, comprising a tip blade part, a variable chip groove spirally angled circumferential blade part, a constant chip groove spirally angled circumferential blade part, and a blade shank part. At the tip blade part of the end mill, in the direction of two cutting blades that are symmetric with the axis line of the end mill as the center, provided are two parallel V-shaped chip accommodating grooves (1), two edges of circumferential micro-teeth (6) are in an overlapping arrangement, and the variable chip groove spirally angled circumferential blade part is in proximity to the tip blade part and points in the direction of the tip blade. The end mill having the tip blade for dedicated use with the carbon fiber composite material increases chip discharging performance when milling a blind groove, reduces the wear of the tip blade, reduces the cutting thickness of the edge of a micro-teeth cutting blade, effectively solves the problem of micro-teeth edge damages, reduces vibrations of the tip blade part and of a circumferential blade transitional part when milling a groove, and increases surface quality and cutting tool service life.
