Abstract:

Disclosed is a micro traction drive provided with an inner wheel (3) which is annularly formed and supported so as to rotate about the rotation axis (L), an outer wheel (6) which is annularly formed and has a diameter larger than that of the inner wheel (3), a plurality of rollers (4) which roll while being in contact with the outer peripheral surface (32) of the inner wheel (3) and the inner peripheral surface (61) of the outer wheel (6), a holding portion (5) which maintains the distances between the rollers (4) at a predetermined distance, a pressing portion (24) which applies precompression between the inner wheel (3) and the rollers (4) and between the outer wheel (6) and the rollers (4), and an input shaft (22) which has a diameter smaller than that of the inner peripheral surface (31) of the inner wheel (3) and is adjacent to the inner wheel (3), said input shaft transmitting torque to the inner peripheral surface (31) of the inner wheel (3). Either the outer wheel (6) or the holding portion (5) is connected to an output shaft (7), and the other is affixed.
