Abstract:
[Problem] The invention provides a microbubble-generating device capable of more efficiently generating microsize and nanosize bubbles in liquid passing therethrough. [Solution] The invention is a microbubble-generating device (1) configured of a bottomed case (21) demarcating a cylindrical modifying space (22), a vibrating plate (11) provided so as to close the open end of said case (21) and an ultrasonic vibrator unit (12) provided above said vibrating plate to vibrate said vibrating plate; wherein the liquid inlet is formed in a direction that is tangential to the cylindrical wall surface of the case (21) that demarcates the modifying space (22) and the liquid outlet has an opening substantially in the center of the modifying space (22) towards the vibrating plate end. The liquid outlet is configured of a liquid outlet port (24) that passes through a liquid outflow pipe (24A) formed in the case (21) and a vibrating plate-side communicating pore (15) having a central opening (17) that opens substantially in the center of the vibrating plate (11) and a peripheral opening (18) that opens at a position facing the opening (26) on the modifying space end of the liquid outflow pipe (24A).
