Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to generate microbubbles efficiently and improve the jetting efficiency of a microbubble-containing liquid. A microbubble-generating device is provided with a main flow channel through which a liquid flows and an aeration channel for introducing a gas into the main flow channel. Specifically, the main flow channel is provided with a narrow section, the inner diameter of which is smaller than the surroundings, and a suction chamber provided on the downstream side of the narrow section for mixing the liquid with the gas. The aeration channel is provided with aeration holes that are in communication with the suction chamber. The aeration holes: are inclined with respect to the direction in which the liquid flows in a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the microbubble-generating device while being connected to the suction chamber; and are disposed so that the central axes of the aeration holes and the central axis of the main flow channel do not intersect so as to generate a helically circling flow in the main flow channel by the introduction of the gas.
