According to the present invention, a microbubble generator for a bathtub comprises: a main body, inside of which a compartment is defined; a liquid suction unit installed at a lower portion of the main body, and including a suction hose configured to suction water in a bathtub and a suction nozzle connected to an end of the suction hose; a circulation pump installed in the compartment to suction water through the liquid suction unit; a gas-liquid mixing tube installed in the compartment at a joint between the circulation pump and the liquid suction unit in order to inject air into the water suctioned into the circulation pump and mix the air with the water; a pressure tank installed in the compartment and connected to the circulation pump through a gas/liquid transfer tube to jet the gas/liquid transferred through the circulation pump at a predetermined pressure; a priming water container installed in the compartment at a side of the gas/liquid transfer tube to supply a predetermined amount of water into the circulation pump; a gas/liquid discharge tube installed at the lower portion of the main body and connected to the pressure tank; and a microbubble-jetting head assembly connected to the gas/liquid discharge tube to generate microbubbles.
