Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microbubble-nanoparticle complex which can be simultaneously used as an ultrasound contrast agent, a photodynamic therapeutic agent, and a chemical drug therapeutic agent, and which can selectively transfer drugs and photosensitizers to specific cancer tissue through an ultrasound response; and to an anticancer therapeutic agent comprising the same. Since the complex of the present invention contains a gas for an ultrasound contrast agent and a photosensitizer substance inside the microbubbles, and nanoparticles bonded to the surfaces of the microbubbles contain a drug, the complex can be used simultaneously as an ultrasound contrast agent, a photodynamic therapeutic agent, and a chemical drug treatment agent. In addition, when an ultrasonic wave is irradiated, the complex of the present invention can provide an ultrasound image of a lesion tissue by using the gas filled in a microbubble core part, as well as break the microbubbles into smaller size micelles or liposomes to efficiently infiltrate and accumulate the drugs and the photosensitizers into the lesion tissue.
