Abstract:
Provided is a microchannel device comprising a flow path that circulates along a curve, wherein a cross section of the flow path obtained by cutting the flow path along a direction orthogonal to the direction in which a liquid with particles dispersed therein flows is asymmetrically shaped. According to the microchannel device, in the asymmetrically-shaped cross section of the flow path, a flow path cross-sectional area S1 that is further toward the inner circumferential side than a line segment LS connecting, by the shortest distance, a lower side (12) and a point PP at which the distance between an upper side (11) and the lower side is at maximum is larger than a flow path cross-sectional area S2 that is further toward the outer circumferential side than the line segment LS.
