Abstract:
This microchannel plate (100) has a double structure configured from a hollow first cladding glass (110) which has an inner wall surface that functions as a channel wall, and a second cladding glass (120) which has higher acid resistance than the first cladding glass. By this means, a low-resistance microchannel plate is realized having a dynamic range that has been enlarged compared with conventional technologies and having excellent weather resistance.
