Abstract:
The present invention provides a microchip that prevents the backflow of a sample, etc. The microchip is provided with a plurality of laminated elastic sheets. In a first intermediate layer formed from a plurality of elastic sheets, each elastic sheet has a non-adhered part for forming a first flow channel in the first intermediate layer. In a second intermediate layer formed from a plurality of elastic sheets, each elastic sheet has a non-adhered part for forming a second flow channel in the second intermediate layer. An elastic sheet interposed between the first and second intermediate layers has a connection part for connecting the first flow channel to the second flow channel. The flow channel width in the connection part of the first flow channel is narrower than the flow channel width in the connection part of the second flow channel.
