Abstract:
Provided is a microchip in which the occurrence of a void in a well when a liquid has flowed in is inhibited. This microchip into which a liquid flows has one or more wells, with a flow-in passage and a flow-out passage being disposed in the side surface of the well, the flow-in passage being arranged at an angle of 0 to 45° with respect to a tangential direction of the outer edge or a side direction of the well, and the liquid flow-out port at the upstream end part of the flow-out passage being arranged at a position with an angle of 240 to 315° to the flow direction of a liquid from a line segment connecting the liquid flow-in port at the downstream end part of the flow-in passage and the center of the well.
