Abstract:
A microcomputer (19) for detecting a magnetic field is provided with: a magnetic field detecting element (10); a differential amplifier (11); a variable voltage circuit (13), which generates a variable reference voltage; a comparator (12), which compares output from the differential amplifier (11) with the reference voltage; a register (4B), which outputs a voltage control value to the variable voltage circuit; ROM (16), which previously stores data as a first table by associating magnetic field intensities and voltage control values with each other; and a CPU (15), which sets a voltage control value to the register (4B), and determines presence/absence of the magnetic field intensity that corresponds to the voltage control value, on the basis of the first table, and the comparison results obtained from the comparator (12).
