Abstract:
Due to the configuration of the present invention, a large quantity of a colorant is present on a porous substrate surface side in flow channel walls, thereby increasing visibility, and the quantity of the colorant in interior sections of the flow channel walls is small, thereby suppressing elution, into an analyte, of ions or similar that are included in the colorant, and thus measurement accuracy is improved. A microfluidic channel device in which a flow channel that is sandwiched by flow channel walls is formed in an interior section of a porous substrate, said microfluidic channel device being characterized in that the flow channel walls have a thermoplastic resin and a colorant, and of the colorant that is included in the flow channel walls, a greater proportion is present in porous substrate surface regions in the flow channel walls than in interior sections of the flow channel walls.
