Abstract:
A microfluidic device for simulating the environment in a cell body and an application thereof. The microfluidic device comprises a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet and at least one microfluidic cavity. The microfluidic cavity has an inlet passage and an outlet passage, the inlet passage communicates with the liquid inlet, and the outlet passage communicates with the liquid outlet. The microfluidic cavity is provided with numerous microstructure elements including micro-ramp structures. The microfluidic device can simulate the environment in a cell body efficiently and gently, facilitates cell protection, recognition and release, enhances and promotes affinity interaction between a cell and an antibody, and increases the contact time and area of the cell and the antibody, and can be used in cancer research, research on clinical diagnosis of various cancers and research on targeted therapy of tumors according to personal diagnosis. The cell can endure a high flow rate due to small shear stress, sample processing time can be shortened, and separation efficiency is improved, so that rapid sample processing is realized, damage to a biomarker is reduced, and originality and integrity of the biomarker are protected.
