Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a microfluidic device with attached heater, the device having a simple structure that does not require an adhesion means for improving heat transfer between the heating block and the device. The device has been made smaller and is capable of forming a uniform temperature region. This microfluidic device is provided with: a substrate; a reaction channel formed in the substrate; and a temperature-adjusting heater for heating the reaction channel. The microfluidic device is characterized in that: on the substrate, reaction channel-forming regions in which the reaction channel is formed and temperature-adjusting heater-forming regions in which the temperature-adjusting heater is formed are alternately disposed; the reaction channel is folded back at least once in the reaction channel-forming regions; and the temperature-adjusting heater is folded back at least once in the temperature-adjusting heater-forming regions.
