Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/115816
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A microorganism having a pathway, said pathway comprising: an enzymatic reaction from glyoxylic acid to glycine; an enzymatic reaction from glycine to serine; and an enzymatic reaction from serine to pyruvic acid or an enzymatic reaction from serine to 3-hydroxypyruvic acid. A microorganism having a pathway, said pathway comprising: an enzymatic reaction from phosphoenolpyruvic acid and CO2 to oxaloacetic acid or an enzymatic reaction from pyruvic acid and CO2 to oxaloacetic acid; an enzymatic reaction from oxaloacetic acid to malic acid; an enzymatic reaction from malic acid to malyl-CoA; an enzymatic reaction from malyl-CoA to glyoxylic acid and acetyl-CoA; an enzymatic reaction from glyoxylic acid and pyruvic acid to 4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutaric acid; an enzymatic reaction from 4-hydroxy-2-oxoglutaric acid to 4-oxoglutaconic acid; and an enzymatic reaction from 4-oxoglutaconic acid to 2-oxoglutaric acid.
