The main purpose of the invention is to provide microparticles, particle sets, an anti-counterfeiting ink, an anti-counterfeiting toner, an anti-counterfeiting sheet, and an anti-counterfeiting medium that enable sophisticated authentication. The invention achieves said purpose by providing microparticles, which have an identification information set comprising multiple identification information that can be discerned on magnification, the microparticles being characterized in that said identification information set comprises a first identification information and a second identification information that is not discernible at a selected magnification at which said first identification information is discernible.
