Abstract:
This microphone 3 has: a first connection port 31 for connection to an external device 1; a second connection port 32 for connection to another microphone 3 via a cable 2; and a determination unit 36 that determines a current mode as a master unit mode in which power is supplied from the second connection port 32 to the other microphone 3 connected via the cable 2 when the cable 2 is connected to the second connection port in a state in which the power is supplied from the external device 1 via the first connection port 31, and determines the current mode as a slave unit mode in which the power is supplied and received via the second connection port 32 from the other microphone 3 connected via the cable 2 when the cable 2 is connected to the second connection port 32 in a state in which the power is not supplied from the external device 1 via the first connection port 31.
