Abstract:
This invention is an adapter which can be quickly installed to and removed from microscopes. It is developed to provide image receiving from microscopes by smart phones and several mini image receiving instruments. It can be used in a broad area ranging from surgery microscopes to examination and light microscopes. When used in examination microscopes, particularly in eye diseases examination microscopes, it enables recording of image and detailed examination or transfer of image onto another display and examination by a number of physicians together in order to keep insulation distance for patients requiring contact isolation. If surgery microscopes do not have a separate imaging system, the invention being a system which can be installed and removed quickly is capable to provide quick imaging during medico-legal or academic purpose micro-surgery and continuation of surgery. It can be used for taking images of preparations in light microscopes of pathology and microbiology departments or display thereof on the monitor for student training. System disclosed under this invention relates to a microscope and bio-microscope adapter enabling transmission of an image on the monitor to a specialist of the field at a distant location by use of video call feature of phone.
