Abstract:
Provided is a microscope device that makes it possible to acquire an image of a specific area of living tissue efficiently or in an appropriate manner. The present invention provides a microscope device comprising a first imaging element for capturing an image of a subject including living tissue and obtaining image data and a second imaging element for capturing an image of the subject at a rate of magnification differing from that of the first imaging element and acquiring image data, wherein the first imaging element comprises a determination unit for determining a feature relating to the subject on the basis of the image data, and the second imaging element is controlled on the basis of the determination result. The present invention also provides an image acquisition system including the microscope device. The present invention additionally provides an image acquisition method carried out in the microscope device.
