Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to more easily proceed with observation of a surgical site, in instances in which a video image of the surgical site has ceased to be displayed normally. Provided is a microscope device for surgical use, equipped with: a microscope unit for imaging an observed subject, and outputting a video signal; a support unit for supporting the microscope unit, said support unit being configured as a balance arm; and a supplementary observation device which is detachably attachable to the microscope unit or to the support unit, and is configured such that observation of the observation range of the microscope unit is possible.
