Abstract:
A microscope includes: a light guide optical system (20) having an objective lens (21) and a beam splitter (25) for branching the optical image of a sample S into a first optical path and a second optical path; a photo-detector (31) arranged on the first optical path for acquiring the image of the sample S; and a CCD camera (32) arranged on the second optical path for acquiring a two-dimensional image for focus control. Moreover, the camera (32) is arranged with inclination angle Ѳ with respect to the optical path so that the optical path length is changed along the z-axis direction in the light guide optical system (20). An image acquired by the camera (32) is analyzed by a focus control unit (37). According to the analysis result, focus of imaging for the sample S is controlled. Thus, it is possible to realize a microscope capable of simultaneously performing sample image acquisition and imaging focus control.
