Abstract:
The present application provides a microstrip antenna structure and a communication device, which relate to the technical field of microwave communications. In the present application, an antenna feed assembly and a coupled patch in an antenna radiation assembly are mutually and communicatively arranged on a plate face at one side of a second dielectric plate, and an antenna ground plane is arranged on a plate face at the other side of the second dielectric plate; then, a radiation patch in the antenna radiation assembly is arranged on a plate face at one side of a first dielectric plate, and a plate face at the other side of the first dielectric plate is superimposed onto the second dielectric plate in a manner of being spaced apart by the coupled patch and the antenna feed assembly, such that a patch projection area of the radiation patch on the second dielectric plate at least partially overlaps with the coupled patch; and the antenna feed assembly is distributed on an outer side of the patch projection area of the radiation patch. Therefore, while realizing a communication function of the antenna structure, integrated arrangement is performed on a feed assembly and a antenna radiation assembly on the same physical structure, thereby reducing the overall height and footprint of the antenna structure, and facilitating use of the antenna structure.
