Abstract:
Provided is a microswitch wherein the versatility of a lever member can be prevented from being reduced while the rigidity of the lever member is improved.
The microswitch (1) is provided with a housing (3) containing a switch mechanism (2), a plunger (4) which transmits power to the switch mechanism (2), and a lever member (5), the base end of which is supported by the housing (3). In the microswitch (1), the tip end of the plunger (4) abuts with the bottom surface (5c) of the lever member (5) at an intermediate position in the longitudinal direction of the lever member (5), and an object to be detected can abut with the top surface (5d) of the lever member (5) on the tip end side of the lever member (5). Further, a first reinforcement portion (5f) is formed on the top surface (5d) of the lever member (5), excluding an object abutment portion (17) with which the object to be detected is to be abutted, and a second reinforcement portion (5e) is formed on the bottom surface (5c) of the lever member (5), excluding a plunger abutment portion (16) with which the tip end of the plunger (4) is to be abutted.
