Abstract:
A microtiter plate comprises a plurality of microtiter plate wells. Each of the microtiter plate wells comprises three parts - a hemispherical bottom portion (2), a funnel-shaped structure (4) connected to the hemispherical bottom portion (2), and a protruding wall (7) connected to the funnel-shaped structure (4). The hemispherical bottom portion (2) of the microtiter plate significantly enlarges a surface area of the microtiter plate, so that the probability of a target substance coming into contact with solid-phase surface target molecules is increased, while the amount of the target substance can be measured using a smaller number of samples. The funnel-shaped structure (4) is connected to a lower portion and an upper portion of the microtiter plate to further enlarge the surface area of the microtiter plate well. The protruding wall (7) disposed can prevent cross-contamination among the microtiter plate wells.
