Abstract:
A microwave dryer and a microwave drying method are provided to evaporate water by using the penetrability of microwave. A wind screen (14) arranged in a dryer body (6) is used as a heat storage body to store heat temporarily when the material in the dryer body (6) is heated. Hot air in the dryer body (6) is extracted by an air discharging system and redelivered to the dryer body (6) from the bottom of the dryer. The specific weight of the material from which water is evaporated is reduced, so the dried material can be carried out of the dryer body (6) if enough wind power is provided.
