Abstract:
Provided is a microwave heating method using microwaves, the method comprising: forming a single-mode standing wave by controlling the frequency of the microwaves; placing an object to be heated in a magnetic field region in which the magnetic field intensity due to the standing wave becomes uniform and maximized; and heating the object to be heated by magnetic heating due to magnetic loss caused by a magnetic field in the magnetic field region, and/or by induction heating due to an induction current generated in the object to be heated by the magnetic field in the magnetic field region.
