Abstract:
A microwave-hot air coupled drying process for water-based synthetic leather, comprising: coupling a microwave heater with a hot air drying oven, i.e., providing a microwave heater at each coating platform; and after 80% of moisture has evaporated, switching to hot air drying. More importantly, in a microwave dryer, head and tail ends are respectively provided with special moisture measurement sensors for monitoring the moisture content of a coating online. In addition, a stearate type heat stabilizer is added to a coating slurry system to further prevent degradation reactions of coating material components due to local overheating. The present invention not only overcomes the defect that in traditional drying processes such as hot air drying and far-infrared drying, drying from the surface to the inside causes a film to be formed on the surface, which in return hinders the evaporation of internal moisture, thus reducing drying efficiency, but also prevents the branching, cross-linking, degrading, etc. of polymers caused by an excessively high local temperature due to a low moisture content in the later stage. The present invention has the characteristics of process safety, energy saving and environmental protection, fast drying rate, etc., and can be widely applied to the production of a variety of water-based synthetic leather and water-based microfiber leather.
