Abstract:
To savorily cook rice using a microwave oven, it is required in the conventional technology
to measure changes in temperature and humidity, which vary depending on the amount
of rice or water, and delicately control the output. Thus, a complicated program
is needed, which makes it difficult to commercialize such a product. Under these
circumstances, it is intended to savorily cook rice using a microwave oven by
using as a container an earthen pot, which is characterized by having a large heat
capacity and a low heat conductivity and radiating far-infrared rays, and controlling
the time from the start of heating to boiling to 10 minutes to 20 minutes.
