Abstract:
A microwave oven system comprising, outside the home, an internet (5) and a host computer (4) connected thereto, and, inside the home, a microwave oven (1), a PC (2)(abbreviation of personal computer) connected to the internet (5) through a modem (6), and a relay BOX (3), which is a repeater which, while converting a signal between the PC (2) and the microwave oven (1), relays communications to connect the two, and which is fed with power from an AC adapter (8). Inside the home, the microwave oven (1) and the relay BOX (3) are separably connected together through a 3-line cable (9). The microwave oven (1) effects heating according to heating control data matching with the type of the microwave oven (1). In addition, the heating control data are contained in homepage information stored in the host computer (4), and are fed to the microwave oven (1) through the internet (5), PC (2), and relay BOX (3).
