Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microwave oven and, more specifically, to a microwave oven which disperses microwaves generated in a magnetron installed in a body to a cooking space through a radio wave dispersion device, allows the microwaves and reflected waves, which are generated by collision of the dispersed microwaves to a diffuser installed at a wall surface of the body, to be combined with each other and thus form standing waves, and heats food by using heat generated by the standing waves. According to the present invention, microwaves having collided with the diffuser installed at the inner wall surface of the body of the microwave oven form standing waves so that heat is uniformly transferred even to a deep part of food within relatively short time and thus any part of the food can be uniformly heated without temperature difference.
