Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a microwave pouch that, with a simple structure, prevents well both the phenomenon of pouch perforation and the phenomenon of content spewing. Provided is a microwave pouch (10) provided with an automatic steam removal mechanism (20), wherein: the automatic steam removal mechanism (20) comprises a circular steam removal seal (30), a steam-releasing part (40) surrounded by the steam removal seal (30), and a movable piece (60) demarcated by a slit (50) formed in the steam-releasing part (40); the steam removal seal (30) has a seal-peeling initiation section (31) where peeling begins due to steam generated inside the pouch (10) during heating; and the slit (50) is configured from two slit ends (51) and a slit middle section (52) formed from the two slit ends (51) toward the region away from the seal-peeling initiation section (31) and connecting the two slit ends.
