Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a mid-drive electric motor and an electric vehicle. The mid-drive electric motor comprises a housing assembly, a crank transmission mechanism, an electric motor and a gear transmission mechanism, wherein the housing assembly is internally provided with a first mounting cavity, a second mounting cavity and a third mounting cavity; the crank transmission mechanism is mounted in the first mounting cavity at one end of the housing assembly, and the electric motor and the gear transmission mechanism are respectively mounted in the second mounting cavity and the third mounting cavity on two sides of the housing assembly, so that the mounting of the whole mid-drive electric motor can be completed; and the crank transmission mechanism, the electric motor and the gear transmission mechanism are rationally and separately arranged in the housing assembly.
