Abstract:
Disclosed are a middle air duct for an air conditioner and an air conditioner. The middle air duct comprises: a first air duct member (1), a second air duct member (2) and a third air duct member (3) successively in communication with each other, wherein the first air duct member (1), the second air duct member (2) and the third air duct member (3) are all of a structure with a gradually changing cross-sectional area; the cross-sectional areas of the first air duct member (1) and the third air duct member (3) gradually change in opposite directions; and the cross-sectional areas of the first air duct member (1) and the third air duct member (3) are progressively reduced in the directions close to each other. The air duct members can be easily formed by means of a successive splitting method, and the manufacturing difficulty of the middle air duct can be reduced by forming divided bodies and then assembling same. Moreover, during the flow of air, the situation of an inlet area being progressively reduced and an outlet area progressively increasing will occur in a circulation area of the air in the middle air duct, and such an arrangement can facilitate an improvement in the flowability of air in the middle air duct, and facilitate the air in entering the middle air duct, thereby improving the air flow performance of the middle air duct.
