Abstract:
Provided are a mill blank that has a section to be cut which is formed of a hybrid resin (HR) and makes it possible to produce, regardless of the shape, a dental prosthesis that faithfully reproduces the gradation of natural teeth, and can obtain a natural three-dimensional effect after treatment. For example, two types of HR raw material compositions giving the HR of colors A and B having a color difference of 5-20 are filled in a mold while appropriately mixing the HR raw material compositions using a two-liquid mixing dispenser with a position control mechanism and then cured. Thus, five to nine color units (CUs), which are regions having a predetermined thickness and exhibiting an identical color appearance, are connected in the height direction without forming a laminated interface, and thus, the color appearance is gradationally changed in the height direction. Furthermore, the colors of the tip section and the base end section are A and B, respectively, and the color of the intermediate section is a color between A and B. In addition, the mill blank comprises a section to be cut having a gradation structure in which the color difference between adjacent CUs in the intermediate section is 1-7.
