Abstract:
Provided is a millimeter wave ridge waveguide transmission line. Using the transmission line, rectangular holes are provided in the upper surface and the lower surface of a metal waveguide joint to realize a metasurface, such that leakage of electromagnetic waves is limited in the structure of a ridge waveguide. The transmission line comprises an upper layer first column of slots and an upper layer second column of slots that are provided in the upper surface, and a lower layer first column of slots and a lower layer second column of slots that are provided in the lower surface, the upper layer first column of slots and the upper layer second column of slots are symmetrically provided, the lower layer first column of slots and the lower layer second column of slots are symmetrically provided, and the shape of each slot is any one of a rectangular or mushroom-shaped or Jerusalem-cross-shaped or Z-shaped structure. By using the millimeter wave ridge waveguide transmission line with the open hole metasurface of the present invention, the requirements of a small size and low cost under a specific frequency can be met, electromagnetic wave leakage can also be inhibited, and the millimeter wave ridge waveguide transmission line is suitable for large-scale industrial application.
