A milling apparatus (100) and method. The milling apparatus (100) comprises: a working platform (110), wherein the working platform (110) is provided with a support board slide rail (120), the support board slide rail (120) is provided with a sliding support (121), and a support board (122) is fixed on the sliding support (121); a receiving mechanism (130), fixed on one side of the working platform (110), wherein the receiving mechanism (130) comprises an electric control box (131), a rotating mechanism (132), an electromechanical module (133), a slide rail module (134), a slider module (135), a rotating cylinder (136), and a receiving positioning board (137); a milling mechanism (140), fixed above the support board slide rail (120), wherein the milling mechanism (140) comprises: a fixed support (141), a milling head (142), a first servo motor (143), and a milling slide rail (144); and a storage platform (150), positioned on one side of the working platform (110).
