Abstract:
A MIMO signal processing device 1 comprises: optical wavelength demultiplexers 31 to 3N to which N RoF signals are input and which each separate a carrier frequency component and a sideband component of the RoF signal; an optical matrix operator 5C to which the carrier frequency components of the N RoF signals are input, and which perform, with respect to the complex amplitude intensities of the carrier frequency components, processing equivalent to an N×N matrix operation and output the carrier frequency components of the N RoF signals; optical matrix operators 5U, 5L to which the sideband components of the N RoF signals are input and which, with respect to the complex amplitude strengths of the sideband components, perform processing equivalent to an N×N matrix operation and output the sideband components of the N RoF signals; and optical wavelength multiplexers 71 to 7N to which corresponding combinations of the carrier frequency components and the sideband components of the N RoF signals are input, and which respectively combine the combinations to output N RoF signals.
