Abstract:
The hygienic washing of food while saving water, disinfectants, energy and labor is achieved by a rubbing process which is generated by the turbulence of air bubbles upon air blowing to the bottom of food, which is placed into a basket (2) with perforated side and bottom surfaces in a container (1) filled with water. Washing process is performed by prewash, softening/disinfection and rinsing processes respectively. Before drainage of dirty water and during the drainage of dirty water, the cleaning of dirt on the inner surface, bottom surface of the container (1) and outer surfaces of the basket (2) is achieved by a brushing system. Upon lifting of the basket (2), the hollow ball (6) which plugs the water drain hole (29) is clearing the water drain hole (29) by the buoyancy of water and thus, the drain of dirty water is enabled by the dirty water drainage mechanism. The suppression of food in the basket (2) is achieved by a perforated food suppression cap (7) which is placed on the food including leaved vegetables, and which is made of a material with a density lower than that of water.

CLAIMS

1.Consisting of: a basket mechanism which includes a basket (2) with perforated side and bottom surfaces, in a container (1) in which the food is washed, a perforated food suppression cap (7) with a density lower than water placed inside the basket (2) which suppresses the food including leafy vegetables into the water, a spherical recess (30) under the basket (2) which enables impermeability by pushing down a hollow ball (6) which plugs water drain hole (29) and which also places the axle of the basket (2) to the axle of the container (1), basket cap (9), a basket lifting device (23) which enables the opening of the water drain hole (29) by going up the hollow ball (6) and thus, lifting the basket (2) for drainage of dirty water; an air blower mechanism which includes an air blower (10) which generates air which enables the rubbing process of foods by rubbing each other due to air bubbles circulation, water rubbing to foods and rubbing of air bubbles to food and which its level is higher than the water overflow hole (18) to prevent any impact by the maximum water level inside the container (1), a safety valve (11) which plugs the conic hole of the safety valve ball by pushing of the safety valve spring (25) in order to prevent the water inside the container (1) from running back through the air hoses (15) to the motor of the air blower (10) if the machine is tilted is toppled accidentally, an air distributor (13) which distributes the air to the air blowing pipes (8) in the bottom of the container (1), an air filter (14) which filters the air soaked by the air blower (10) and a safety valve perforated sheet (4) which supports the safety valve ball (12), a container and basket brushing mechanism which includes external brush (27), internal brush (26), bottom brush (28) which brushes and cleans up dirt in the inner and bottom surfaces of the container (1) and the outer surfaces of the basket (2) after each washing phase before draining the dirty water, during drainage of dirty water and which air blow is continuing and which are replaceable in case of defect, a brush holder (3) which carries the brushes, brush rotation arms (5) which rotates the brushes to the left and right, a friction ring (21) which supports the brush holder (3) from the bottom and adjusts its distance and a ball guide ring (24) which maintains the position of the hollow ball (6) and which keeps the bottom of the brush holder (3) in the axle of the container (1) for easy rotation; a dirty water drain mechanism which includes a basket lifting device (23) which lifts the basket (2) for drainage of dirty water after each washing phase, a hollow ball (6) which moves up by the buoyancy of water and opens the water drain hole (29) as the basket (2) moves up and which enables the drainage of water, a spherical recess (30) which keeps the bottom of the basket (2) within the axle of the basket (2); a food suppression cap (7) made of a material with a density lower than water placed inside the basket (2) which suppresses the food including leafy vegetables and light vegetables such as green pepper or rooted fruits and vegetables and enables contact with the water and which ensures washing with less water due to suppression of foods to the bottom of the basket (2), a water drain hose (17) which discharges the overflowing water and dirty water, a blower cap (31), a replaceable pipe (20) which is changed in case of deformation, ball guide rods (16) which center the hollow ball (6), a fresh water filling pipe (19) and a support holder (22)

A mini food washing machine as stated in claim 1 and characterized by a basket mechanism and including a basket (2) with perforated side and bottom surfaces, in a washing container (1) in which the food is washed, a perforated food suppression cap (7) with a density lower than water placed inside the basket (2) which suppresses the food including leafy vegetables into the water, a spherical recess (30) under the basket (2) which enables impermeability by pushing down a hollow ball (6) which plugs water drain hole (29) and which also places the axle of the basket(2) to the axle of the container (1), a basket cap (9) and a basket lifting device (23) which enables the opening of the water drain hole (29) by going up the hollow ball (6) and thus, lifting the basket (2) for drainage of dirty water.

A mini food washing machine as stated in claim 1 and characterized by an air blowing mechanism and including an air blower (10) which generates air which enables the rubbing process of foods by rubbing each other due to air bubbles circulation, water rubbing to foods and rubbing of air bubbles to food and which its level is higher than the water overflow hole (18) to prevent any impact by the maximum water level inside the container (1), a safety valve (11) which plugs the conic hole of the safety valve ball (12) by pushing of the safety valve spring (25) in order to prevent the water inside the container (1) from running back through the air hoses (15) to the motor of the air blower (10) if the machine is tilted is toppled accidentally, an air distributor (13) which distributes the air to the air blowing pipes (8) in the bottom of the container (1), an air filter (14) which filters the air soaked by the air blower (10) and a safety valve perforated sheet (4) which supports the safety valve ball (12).

A mini food washing machine as stated in claim 1 and characterized by a container and basket brushing mechanism and including external brush (27), internal brush (26), bottom brush (28) which brushes and cleans up dirt in the inner and bottom surfaces of the container (1) and the outer surfaces of the basket (2) after each washing phase before draining the dirty water, during drainage of dirty water and which air blow is continuing and which are replaceable in case of defect, a brush holder (3) which carries the brushes, brush rotation arms (5) which rotates the brushes to the left and right, a friction ring (21) which supports the brush holder (3) from the bottom and adjusts its distance and a ball guide ring (24) which maintains the position of the hollow ball (6) and which keeps the bottom of the brush holder (3) in the axle of the container (1) for easy rotation.

A mini food washing machine as stated in claim 1 and characterized by a dirty water drain mechanism and including a basket lifting device (23) which lifts the basket (2) for drainage of dirty water after each washing phase, a hollow ball (6) which moves up by the buoyancy of water and opens the water drain hole (29) as the basket (2) moves up and which enables the drainage of water, a spherical recess (30) which keeps the bottom of the basket (2) within the axle of the basket (2).

6. A mini food washing machine as stated in claim 1 and characterized by a food suppression cap (7) made of a material with a density lower than water placed inside the basket {2) which suppresses the food including leafy vegetables and light vegetables such as green pepper or rooted fruits and vegetables and enables contact with the water and which ensures washing with less water due to suppression of foods to the bottom of the basket (2).

MINI FOOD WASHING MACHINE

The related technical field

This invention is related to a very good cleaner single container machine which provides great water economy, energy, disinfectant, and labor in washing foods, mainly fruits and vegetables.

The known technology as of today

The known technology as of today is repeatedly filling and washing the foods till the water is observed to get dirty. The dirty water gets emptied and replaced with clean water once it is believed that the water is dirty after the observations are made.

Under these circumstances the dirt remaining from the first food batch affects the second food batch. By the end of the washing, rinsing is done as an extra operation or a second plant is added and realized through additional water consumption.

With the known technology the food is filled in a pool where there is an end to end abundant amount of water flow. Water drags the food to the other end providing them to leave the pool. This means that there is not an independent section for the rinsing operation and the water consumption is excessive.

With the known technology the washing tank is divided into two sections. The food which gets compressed and washed in the first section leaves the pre-washing and gets into the second section. After the second washing is done here the food gets onto the conveyor, the rinsing is done on the conveyor and it falls into the collection baskets.

Washing the food with the known technology is based on the turbulence of the clean water which passes on the substance to be washed.

The dirt is eliminated while the vegetables move under the helicoidal movement of the water. Small sand and dirt particles are sucked in with the turbulence and moved away from the washing tank into the particle collection tank. The water is at rest in the collection tank. The system allows the collected particles to enter directly into the exit channel. After the washing process the vegetables are rinsed with fresh water on the discharge conveyor.

With the known technology, the washing operation in a single bucket equipment is realized through pulverizing the water under turbulence while the bucket in the equipmen rotates.

With the known technology the food is washed through the oscillation and the pulverization of the water once they are filled into the containers which are horizontally placed and rotate around their horizontal axis. With the known technology the food is cleaned by pulverizing water after filling them in independent consecutive containers. Under these circumstances food is emptied from a container into the next container by rotating around one another

With the known technology, foods are washed in rotating containers placed equidistantly, by placing foods into baskets which rotate around the same axis of the containers; the baskets lift up from the containers and turn to the opposite side and sink down in the containers again whereas the brushes inside the baskets provide rubbing the foods.

Purpose of the invention

The purpose of this invention is to wash foods of various types and sizes, mainly fruits and vegetables, without any prewashing and to achieve saving of water, disinfectants and labor and without contact of hands , alternately by pre-wash, softening/disinfection and rinsing processes which require more time and by the friction of water to food which is achieved by air bubbles which are applied under the baskets containing with food and which rub the food while with the impact of turbulence while drifting up and by this, foods rub each other and eventually, foreign matters are removed from food, including nooks, more efficiently. The basket containing food upon sorting is placed into the container and washing process is performed. Further, dirty water is drained and fresh water is refilled and softening /disinfection process is performed. Then, dirty water is drained and upon refill of fresh water, rinsing process is performed. After rinsing process, the washed food without dirty water drainage, are removed and dirty foods are placed into the container. By this, water saving is achieved as the rinsing water will be used for the further prewash process.

In the prewash, softening and rinsing processes, accumulated soil, sand and stones drop down from the bottom of the basket to the container bottom and are discharged together with the dirty water draining.

With the perforated food suppression cap with does not submerge due its density, the foods in the baskets are suppressed into the water and the complete exposed to water enabled.

As the blown air is adjustable, even very softy foods can be washed without any damages.

Description of the invention:

The mini food washing machine is consisting of; a basket mechanism, shown in figure

The mini washing machine which serves for the aforementioned objective may be manufactured in any field of the industry and is fit for use in houses as well as nutrition and food manufacturing facilities.
