Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a mirror image distribution method, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a distribution request regarding a mirror image file; identifying a first storage location, in a source mirror image repository, of each layer of data of the mirror image file; and according to the first storage location, distributing each layer of data of the mirror image file from the source mirror image repository into a target mirror image repository. When mirror image distribution needs to be performed, mirror image distribution is performed after a storage location of each layer of data of a mirror image file is identified, without the need to pull a mirror image to the locality and then push same to a target mirror image repository.
