Abstract:
Provided is a mirror which has outstanding machining properties in cutting and chamfering and so on, which also manifests outstanding chemical resistance and corrosion resistance under various conceivable conditions of usage in a normal environment, and which in particular has outstanding performance in the CASS test, and in addition environmental issues are resolved in that a coating composition for forming a back coating film does not include an organic solvent, and also provided is a process for producing the mirror. A mirror constituted by forming, in the following order, a silver mirror surface film, copper protective film, and back coating film on a glass substrate, wherein the back coating film is formed by means of powder coating using a powder coating composition which includes 1 or 2 or more epoxy resins selected from bisphenol A epoxy resins, bisphenol F epoxy resins, and cresol novolac epoxy resins.
