Abstract:
This mirror-type monitor device comprises: an in-car camera that captures images of a user inside the car of an elevator; a mirror-type monitor that is provided to a side surface in the car and can be switched between a mirror state, in which the mirror-type monitor functions as a mirror, and a monitor state, in which the mirror-type monitor functions as a display device that displays an image; and a control device that controls operation of the in-car camera and the mirror-type monitor. The control device includes: an imaging unit that, when imaging conditions are met, captures an image of a user, who has boarded the car, by using the in-car camera; and a user image display unit that, when display conditions are met, switches the state of the mirror-type monitor from the mirror state to the monitor state, and that displays the user image captured by the imaging unit on the mirror-type monitor.
