Provided is a mirror unit in which a mirror is bonded to a holder with an adhesive, wherein positional deviation and angular deviation at the mirror can be reduced even in the case where temperature and humidity change. The mirror unit includes a mirror, a holder for holding the mirror, and adhesive layers. The mirror is formed by forming a reflection surface on one of surfaces of a transparent substrate and forming a plurality of light transmission windows, in a peripheral part of the reflection surface, in an outer area with respect to an effective-diameter area for signal light to be reflected by the reflection surface, in such a manner that the light transmission windows are symmetric in the horizontal and vertical directions on a plan view of the reflection surface. The holder is installed at an adjusted optical position in a case that houses a device in which the mirror is used as an optical member. The adhesive layers are formed as follows: while the mirror is installed on the holder in a state in which a back surface of the mirror opposite to the reflection surface thereof faces the holder, a photocurable adhesive is interposed between the mirror and the holder in such a manner that the photocurable adhesive covers underneath of the light transmission windows, and the photocurable adhesive is cured with light projected thereto via the light transmission windows of the mirror.
