Abstract:
The present invention utilizes ignition noise to make it possible, with a simple configuration, to determine the occurrence of a misfire. A control device 100 is capable of determining the occurrence of a misfire in a spark plug 45 sparked by a secondary-side current of an ignition coil 185. The present invention comprises: an ignition control unit 160 that outputs an ignition control signal for controlling an ignition operation; an ignition unit 170 that controls the continuity/discontinuity of a primary-side current of the ignition coil 185 in response to the ignition control signal; a reception unit 190 that receives ignition noise radiated from the spark plug 45 by a control operation of an ignition unit; and a misfire occurrence determination unit 180 that determines the occurrence of a misfire on the basis of the radiated ignition noise.
