Abstract:
A mixed flow turbine wheel equipped with multiple rotor blades provided on the peripheral surface of a hub, said multiple rotor blades being configured such that when viewed in a meridian plane the front edge of each rotor blade includes a slanted edge section wherein the distance between the front edge and the axial line of a rotary shaft decreases from the tip side toward the hub side of the blade. The mixed flow turbine wheel has a flat sensor detection surface adorned with a marking that can be detected by an optical sensor device. The sensor detection surface is formed on the peripheral surface of the hub and/or the edge section of a reference rotor blade which is one of the multiple rotor blades, such that when viewed in a meridian plane the rear-edge-side angle among the two angles formed by the axial line of the rotary shaft and the normal line of the sensor detection surface is smaller than the rear-edge-side angle among the two angles formed by the axial line of the rotary shaft and the normal line of the slanted edge section.
