Abstract:

A mixed-type dynamic pressure gas radial bearing, comprising a bearing outer sleeve (1), a bearing inner sleeve (2), and a foil-type elastic piece (3) arranged between the two sleeves. An outer circumference surface and two end surfaces of the bearing inner sleeve are provided with regularly shaped groove-type patterns, the groove-type patterns of the two end surfaces being mirror images of one another, axial contour lines of the groove-type pattern (21) of the outer circumference surface corresponding to radial contour lines of the groove-type patterns of the two end surfaces in a one-to-one manner, said axial contour lines joining up with said radial contour lines. The bearing has rigid features of a high limit rotating speed of a groove-type dynamic pressure gas radial bearing, and flexible features of a high impact resistance and load capacity of a foil-type dynamic pressure gas radial bearing, and is suitable for applications in the field of ultra-high speeds wherein the load is relatively large.
