Title:
FUEL/AIR MIXING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1998/030797
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention uses diagonally arranged fins projecting within a cylinder, intended to be inserted into an air intake in order to improve the delivery of air into any internal combustion or diesel engine, thereby achieving an optimised burn of the fuel in order to bring about a better response and an increased mileage per gallon/kilometres per litre, or improved output in an electricity generator or any other device which depends upon an internal combustion or diesel engine. The better use of the fuel means that far fewer waste hydrocarbons will be emitted from an engine's exhaust system, with a result that there should follow a marked diminution in the pollutants produced through chemical reaction with the atmosphere.

Description:
FUEL/AIR MIXING DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE This invention relates to a device to be inserted into the air intake of a car as part of the carburation system of the internal combustion engine in order to bring about a more efficient mixture of the air and petroleum being injected. The more thoroughly the oxygen containing the air is mixed with the petroleum spirit he better the gasification and, in consequence, the better the burn.

To a slight degree the input of the mixture going into the combustion cylinder is influenced by the'Coriolis'effect whereby the rotation of the earth induces in the Northern flemisphere a cloclcwise spiralling of liquids (as can be seen in an emptying bath). My invention is designed to enhance this effect through diagonally placing fins protruding into a cylinder made to fit with precise connection in the inner wall of an air intake thus directing the air input as it goes into the petroleum mixture to create a clockwise vortex forcing the mixture to combine better to achieve an optimum blend.

By having this system fitted a car should have :- 1) A better fuel return resulting from a-more efficient burn.

Average miles per gallon in an average saloon car should be increased by about 13. 5%, a considerable improvement in efficiency.

2) A cleaner engine with less waste carbon deposit in the combustion chambers and elsewhere resulting from unburnt fuel.

3) A cleaner environment effect with fewer unspent hydrocarbons being voided into the atmosphere.

4) Better turbo like acceleration through an improved response.

5) Oxygen output up to 22 times greater than without"The Green One"inserted. (See example below) 6) flydrocarbons polution without The Green One up to 550% greater. (See example below) READINGS BEFORE INSERTING"TIlE GREEN ONE" CO................... 0. 33 percent fIC 324 P. P. M.
